Overview

EasyWebTools ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.

The short version: Your data never leaves your browser. All tools run 100% client-side.

Data Processing

All tools on EasyWebTools process data entirely in your browser using JavaScript. Text you type, passwords you generate, files you upload, and any other input are never transmitted to our servers. We do not store, log, or have access to any data you enter into our tools.

Analytics

We use the following analytics services to understand site usage:

  • Cloudflare Web Analytics — Privacy-first analytics provided automatically by our hosting platform. No cookies, no tracking scripts, no personal data collected.
  • Plausible Analytics — Lightweight, cookie-free analytics. Collects aggregate pageview data only. No personal information is tracked. Compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR without requiring cookie consent.
  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — Used to qualify for premium advertising networks. GA4 is loaded lazily (only after you interact with the page) to minimize performance impact. GA4 uses cookies to track sessions. You can opt out using Google's opt-out browser add-on.

Cookies

EasyWebTools uses minimal cookies. Our tools themselves use no cookies. Cookies may be set by:

  • Google Analytics 4 — Session and user identification cookies (loaded only after interaction).
  • Google AdSense — Advertising cookies for personalized ads. You can manage ad personalization in your Google Ads Settings.
  • Theme preference — A localStorage value (not a cookie) that remembers your dark/light mode choice.

Advertising

EasyWebTools is supported by advertising. Ads are lazy-loaded using IntersectionObserver to protect page performance and are clearly labeled as "Advertisement." Ad containers use fixed dimensions to prevent layout shift. We do not serve pop-ups, interstitials, or auto-playing video ads.

Your Rights

Under GDPR and similar regulations, you have the right to:

  • Access — Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you. (Since we don't collect personal data through our tools, this is limited to analytics data held by third-party providers.)
  • Deletion — Request deletion of your data from analytics providers.
  • Opt-out — Disable GA4 tracking via the Google opt-out add-on. Plausible and Cloudflare Web Analytics do not track individuals.
  • Portability — Since no personal data is stored on our servers, there is nothing to export.

Children's Privacy

EasyWebTools does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our tools do not require account creation or personal data entry.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
